For over 35 years Shay Murtagh Ltd. have been continuously researching and developing new product opportunites. On Tuesday 4th August the Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey T.D, visited us at our factory in Raharney, Mullingar for the launch of our latest innovative “green” solution.

2008 has come and gone and thankfully we can now look back over what was another successful year for our company. For over 30 years Shay Murtagh Precast Ltd. have been one of the leading manufacturers of concrete products in Ireland. Shay Murtagh Ltd. and Shay Murtagh (Precast) Ltd. were set up in 1975 and 1981 respectively. Between them, the companies manufacture, supply and install a wide range of concrete products to the building and civil engineering industry throughout Ireland and the UK.

Shay Murtagh commenced business in a factory unit at Joristown, Killucan, Ireland. In November 1982, the company purchased a precast concrete factory premises on a fourteen acre site at Raharney where their offices are now based. In earlier years Shay Murtagh (Precast) Ltd. manufactured and supplied concrete wall panels for installation of water storage reservoirs and sewerage treatment tanks. It also manufactured precast concrete bridge beams, industrialConcrete frame buildings, watermain Concrete road furniture and a range of small precast for the general construction and housing market.
