Shay Murtagh Precast recently manufactured and supplied a bespoke headwall project in Glasgow installed by P&S Civils/Cleantech as part of the Shawfield Masterplan Scheme.
The National Business District will be built over the next 20 years and involve creation of some 350k sq/m of commercial space, on riverfront land benefiting from connectivity to the M74 and a new pedestrian footbridge linking Dalmarnock to Rutherglen. Within the project there is significant works being completed on drainage and infrastructure.
This bespoke unit was 15m long x 5.5m wide and measured over 9m in height when installed and was assembled through 15 separate pieces of precast. The spillway unit had 84 baffles cast in total. We are consistently pushing the boundaries of precast and are proud to exhibit this piece of work ffrom our bespoke portfolio.Gillian is the Marketing Director for Shay Murtagh Precast.
