Last Wednesday, May 30th, Structural Research by Shay Murtagh presented at the BIM day in the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (www.IPVC.pt). This event on BIM day is an initiative promoted by the ESTG/IPVC Civil & Environmental Engineering Group and carried out in partnership with StratBIM.
Structural Research scope was to share the experience gathered during the last years about digitalizing Shay Murtagh Group procedures to comply with BIM level 2 government requirements and to improve the global efficiency of the Group. We received a great response from the audience and are delighted with the engagement of universities and students to the digital construction world. Presently we have several students developing R&D projects with various universities and look forward to developing relationships with third level partners.
