Wicklow County Council and the NRA commissioned Geosystems to create a GridLok system for the new Kilpedder footbridge on the N11. The footbridge was constructed as part of the upgrade works taking place on the N11 road from Newtown Mount Kennedy to Ballynabarny.
The project involved a steep reinforced soil slope, requiring several tiers of steel mesh facing to create a stable and secure embankment. The GridLok system was then hand seeded to create a greened finished to complement the local area.
